In my daily practice I pause to acknowledge and reflect upon the fact that the land where I learn, work, explore,
and reside was the original homeland of the Wabanaki, and N’dakina. (Abenaki / Abénaquis).
I am grateful to the care and love they instilled in this land, give thanks for the opportunity to share
in the joys of this place, and pledge to continue to honor and protect it.
